Facebook is Lying to Us and You

Facebook is Lying to Us and You

Aaron Marino talks about how he realized that scrolling through his newsfeed on Facebook made him feel like a loser. He felt like a ‘weird’ after seeing all of these amazing experiences and amazing relationships other people were having.

He felt like he was ‘missing something’ and that his life was ‘deficient’. He felt like people were jamming how amazing they are and how amazingly incredible their lives are. He started feeling bummed out.

His theory is that Facebook is causing people to feel badly about themselves and making them feel depressed, both the people posting stuff, and the people watching what these people post. Aaron called his friend (Mike) who is a licensed therapist about how destructive social media can be. Mike said that social media is indeed destructive, causing people to feel worse about themselves as they view other people living a fake “Facebook” lifestyle.

Aaron, like you, should feel vindicated and put it all in perspective.

Aaron acknowledges that what you see on social media (Facebook) is not reality! Like online dating, you can craft a persona and mislead people.

The fact is that is everyone has problems, issues, and insecurities. Social media is a place to post amazing things, and for someone looking in through this key-hole, they can start feeling unfulfilled.

You should make sure that if you are spending too much time on social media platform and you are feeling like you need to compete, it’s okay to live a life that is normal. You need to live a life off of the computer. Realize that living is not done on or in front the computer. Make your own amazing memories and life even if you’re not posting it! Put it in perspective!

Observe and Consider Well

Observe and Consider Well

Observe and Consider Well

No matter how we attempt to live our lives on the platform of social media, Facebook or whatever, our habits will always leak out in some form.

As I thought about this CONCEPT, I thought about a scripture in a book called Proverbs in the 24th chapter at verse 30 through 32.

It says…

30  I went by the field of the slothful, and by the vineyard of the man void of understanding;

31  And, lo, it was all grown over with thorns, and nettles had covered the face thereof, and the stone wall thereof was broken down.

32  Then I saw, and considered it well: I looked upon it, and received instruction.

We all go by the field or the environment of the lazy and we go by the field or the environment of the diligent, and most often we are not carefully observing and more importantly considering what we are seeing.

When you go by a man’s house or his Facebook page, who is void of understanding, you’ll notice things that you can observe and consider, and consider it well. We also can receive instructions from these things. Watching other people, their behavior, and then their results is some of the best education you can find and take.

We receive instructions from people on how they dress and keep their Facebook pages, their Twitter pages, and how they behave on social media. Social media is often a “spruced up” reflection of who they really are. I bid you to observe and considered even your own self.

How do you use Facebook and social media?

All Anyone Will Require From You

All Anyone Will Require From You

All Anyone Will Require From You

It’s not a Facebook account, it is not your allegiance, it is not your devoted effort to their life. Nope.

All anyone will require from you in business, career, or relationships is a sound mindset. If you’re troubled by too many things, you won’t be a good employee, business partner, or friend.

They’ll require a healthy body. If you can’t summon the energy to do the thing, you won’t do the thing or you’ll do it lacklusteredly. Visit my website on health for instant health tips.

The last requirement is to cultivate or develop a genuine desire to be of as much service as possible to as many people as possible! Serving others is the easiest way to “get paid,” accomplish goals, move ahead, and have a clear purpose.

This is all anyone will really require of you as it pertains to career, business, and social relationship life!

Giving Yourself a Fair Shot

In life and different endeavors we take on, we normally do not give ourselves a fair shot. Giving yourself a fair shot is the make or break in most situations. The secret to giving yourself the best possible shot at success with an endeavor is to have faith in yourself, to focus on the desired outcome, and to be consistent with your actions.

If you’ve ever used or heard the phrase, “I’m going to try it out for a bit and see what it does,” then you already know that you are starting out under water. You’re not going to give yourself a fair shake. If you can’t see what you want before you take on the endeavor, you won’t see it in the future either. I remember in college at a basketball practice, one of my good friends and teammates said to me after I’d hoisted up a shot that I didn’t even try to make the shot. “You didn’t even try to make that shot,” he said.

Giving Yourself a Fair Shot

As I thought about it, I didn’t really. I was just shooting for the motion of shooting. We have to start taking everything serious that we want to accomplish, and stop shooting just to shoot, and start shooting to score and win. Give yourself a fair shot, a great chance at success by going at everything with full effort!

Why So Many Over Night Successes

Over Night Successes

A lot of times we hear about these overnight successes, and they do more harm to us than good because it appears like they just thought to themselves, I’m going to do this, and go do it and BOOM they are famous and making a whole lot of money. We hear about them very often so we kind of thing it is the norm. However, the world operates like a glacier; there is a 20/80 rule to nearly everything.

FaceBook Overnight SuccessThe bulk of the people trying to make the NBA don’t even get turned away at the door; they get turned away in the car as they prepare to go to the venue to get to the door. The casualties of lost dreams in NBA basketball, entertainment industry, and even in becoming a hot-shot attorney are all over the land scape.

Does this mean it will happen to you?

Each individual’s dream and vision, backed by consistent hard work, work ethic, persistence, and what I call “super blessings” (other people call luck, chance, and being at the right spot at the right time); can land them in the top twenty percent of the people vying for the same goals. You have to believe a ball player won’t just get up at age twenty-five and decide he wants to play NBA basketball and walk out there and do it. The odds are far against him, unless he is six feet ten inches and has a deadly hook shot, with an ability to rebound and block shots.

If you do see an overnight success; chances are they have worked their entire life for the opportunity and when they had their moment, the years of preparation paid off and they shined. An example would be Jeremy Lin of the Houston Rockets; this guy will be paid 35Million dollars over the next three years because of his dream, vision, consistent hard work, work ethic, persistence, and “super blessings.”

Why so many overnight successes

In my world, the world of online business, overnight success is the dream of everyone; to make money sitting on their couch watching TV or movies, drinking fruity drinks is the image people have consistently on their minds. It happens more often than we think… especially in the new the program like Empower Network, it is documented that people have made six figure incomes for the very first time at their crack at online marketing and they have done it in less than seven months.

I see old ladies blogging to the bank and it is truly inspiring. The “super blessings” are being passed out in large amounts there, but it does not mean it happens for everyone.

Remember, your dream, vision, consistent hard work, work ethic, persistence, and “super blessings,” all play a role in your success and possible overnight success. Have a dream, see it every day, consistently work at it, and with the “super blessings” it will materialize one day for you. Possibly sooner than you can believe.
