Hill once said, “the best compensation for doing things is the ability to do more.”

This is to say, once you do something, if people want you to do more of it, you will be nicely compensated.

They will be compensated for the works you do, and you will be compensated with the ability to do more of what you enjoy and financially you’ll gain.

If you’re unable to do more, then perhaps your work is not needed or was not satisfactory. The compensation halts.

This is why the best compensation for doing things is the ability to do more. Get good and doing more and be handsomely compensated.

Napoleon Hill said to “seek the counsel of men (and women) who will tell you the truth about yourself, even if it hurts you to hear it.”

You don’t want the mere commendation people give to keep you feeling okay about yourself. This will not bring any improvement to you that you need.

True, we don’t want to hear true raw stuff from people that we know about ourselves (or don’t know). Sometimes we don’t want to hear it from certain people, but the reality is, we need to hear that we are being lazy.

We need to hear we are not practicing hard enough, we need to hear that our articles are boring, we need to hear some truth. Be sure, however, the quantify where your information is coming from.

Be sure it is coming from someone who has done what you’re attempting to do and they are being truthful, but not discouraging or abasing. They are just bring light to your situation so you can make adjustments and changes. Always go with that and welcome it!

The art of thinking clearly, accurate thinking, it begins with ones ability to distinguish the facts from the “fubble” and gossipy info that is usually not worth a dime.

Just think about it; how can you make an accurate decision without all the real hard facts?

Clear through the fluff and get to the facts and then and only then you can become an accurate thinker.

It’s not everyday that someone gives you a positive pep talk… sometimes you have to give yourself one or better yet become the person who gives the positive pep talk. How can you give a positive pep talk if you’re full of negativity. You can give a positive pep talk unless you’ve filled your mind with positive things to say.

The idea here is to get around positive people so that you have positive things to offer people and more importantly, you become an instrument of positivity. You begin to vibrate on a high level of positivity. You can only do this when you have locked into allowing positive things into your mind. You can always tell how positive you are by all the positive results or things happening in your life.

Avoid your normal naysayers, news bringers, gossipers, and people with very little to offer you as far as enhancing your life. Don’t cut them off, but be a coach and lower their minutes until they are complete bench riders. Eventually, they will quit your team, I mean the team. Instead of them, get around positive people; one of the easiest ways to do this is to buy them. Get tapes on Brian Tracy, Bob Proctor, and Napoleon Hill and listen to those as you go about your day.

The difference between the strugglers and jugglers from the movers, shakers, and bakers’ in business is summed up in one word; consistency. Becoming consistent with your business, be it a small traditional business, a MLM program, or online affiliate marketing deal; you have to learn to be consistent.

Once you’ve taken courses, and patterned out what you need to do, you have got to be extremely consistent in order to get yourself to the top three to five percent who are cashing in on all the dough.

I was at a business marketing conference this weekend and I got to meet a lot of different people. Some of the people were making SUPER strong six figure incomes while some were just getting started. And in the conversations with the different people I really got to see where people lived at (where their mentality was). Some people have mushy attitudes and with those mushy attitudes they cannot become consistent with their business. Consistency takes discipline and that takes firmness to get up and do what you have to do everyday.

With mushy attitude there is room for doubt and doubt manifest itself in plenty of ways. One way doubt loves to show up in is in making sure you have inconsistency. Doubt with fear know that mushy attitude people will get soft at some point and take a break. They will take a day off, or a week. Mushy attitude people do not understand momentum, and becoming consistent warrants being able to ride the momentum wave.

So What are Some Great Ways to Becoming Consistent with your Business?

Nike summed it up all for us years ago; JUST DO IT. Obviously there is more to the puzzle than to tell someone to “just do it.” You need to set up a solid plan. Get a skill set or as Napoleon Hill stated it, get specialized knowledge. Get a mentor to guide you, but really they are looking from the outside in without all the emotion you have toward becoming successful and that is key.

Next, you must take massive action. You must take action and the action must be able to produce results. Buying business cards is not action; but writing an article, buying traffic, doing a video, calling a prospect, these are actions that will produce results.
